- 30 August: Well, with the advent of Third Edition, the site's hiatus is in an odd extension. I need to update the Character Option Compilations for 3E, but I'm debating whether to keep the information here primarily First, Second, or Third. In the meantime, the updated Compilations are in the Book of Water.
- 8 April: Nothing is working right now. I apologize for the mess, but I have just changed hosting providers, and a lot of files still need to be transferred, and a few pieces of code need to be re-written. Everything should be up this weekend.
- 28 January: I know it's been a while. And now I'm not really going to work terribly hard on this site until Third Edition is released. But for now, the dueling rules have been updated in th Book of Fire. The alternate rules were just too cumbersome, and I finally realized a few things that helped me understand the given rules.
- 24 August:
Extended torture sessions Classes have started. Updates are going to be sparse until I can get into the hang of my new schedule. Talk amongst yourselves.
- 17 August: I said I wouldn't do it any time soon, but I have redesigned the site layout. Hopefully, having only one sidebar will make the articles a little easier to read. Sadly, I still reccommend at least 1024x768 resolution, because anything smaller than that will make the header buttons look absolutely terrible.
- 13 August: Added Ide Kimata, a Unicorn diplomat, to the Book of Void. Also rearranged the characters there into pregenerated characters and NPCs.
- 12 August: Added "Strangers in the Woods" to the fiction in the Book of Earth.
- 4 August: Added "The Body," a Kitsuki-centric Challenge-Focus-Strike adventure to the Book of Void.
- 28 July: Added "The Tournament," a Challenge-Focus-Strike adventure to the Book of Void.
- 22 July: Added the Disadvantages "Backwoods" and "Hemophilia" to the New Disadvantages in the Book of Water.
- 15 July: Added Ide Kudachi, a Unicorn shugenja, and Mirumoto Otseko, a Dragon bushi, to the Book of Void.
- 9 July: Added Kitsu Nitsuko, a Sodan-Senzo, to the Book of Void.
- 7 July: Added the Advantages "Animal Empathy" and "Eagle Eyes" to the New Advantages in the Book of Water.
- 25 June: Added the Kanube -- a new Dragon vassal family and school to the Book of Water.
- 22 June: Added "The Caravan," a Challenge-Focus-Strike adventure to the Book of Void, and the Disadvantage "Inept" to the to the New Disadvantages Book of Water.
- 16 June: Added Kuni Riseku, a Crab shugenja, to the Book of Void.
- 10 June: Added Ikoma Fusho, a Lion tactician, and Moshi Renzi, a Centipede shugenja, to the Book of Void.
- 8 June: Added new fanfic to the Book of Earth.
- 4 June: Added rules for alternate forms of duels and tests of skill to the Book of Fire, and added Matsu Retsu, a brutal Lion bushi to the Book of Void.
- 2 June: Added the Advantage "Yasuki Blood" to the New Advantages in the Book of Water.
- 28 May: Added new Heroic Opportunities and a random table, plus "The Oni Surgeons," a Challenge-Focus-Strike adventure to the Book of Void.
- 25 May: Added new alternate and advanced rules for iaijutsu duels to the Book of Fire.
- 14 May: The switch to PHP is pretty much complete, and everything seems to be working. Let me know if that is an incorrect statement. Also, added the Kyojin -- a new Unicorn vassal family and school to the Book of Water.
- 24 April: Competely changed the backend of the site. I'm moving away from CGI and to PHP. There's still a lot of Perl in the backend (and probably will be until PHP comes up with an equally eloquent text-search method), but I'm trying to convert most of it to PHP. Everything client-side should be working now, so I've decided to upload the test site and begin using it. View.cgi has been deprecated because of this, so you'll probably need to change your bookmarks.
- 22 April: Added the Amasu -- a new Crab vassal family and school to the Book of Water.
- 22 March: Rounded out the Phoenix dojo in the Book of Water with dojo for the Asako (who have been mysteriously without until now).
- 20 March: Added new dojo for the Phoenix Tensai in the Book of Water.
- 19 March: Finally finished fixing the dates of the Rokugani festivals from Winter Court: Kyuden Seppun, and added the full list to the Book of Earth.
- 18 March: Updated all of the Character Option Compilations in the Book of Water to include post-Jade material. Added rules for low-Honor social penalties in the Book of Fire. Added new fanfic to the Book of Earth.
- 14 March: New Advantages and Disadvantages in the Book of Water.
- 13 March: Added rules for using rituals in Second Edition, as well as alternate rules for recognizing other samurai.
- 12 March: Updated all of the Character Option Compilations in the Book of Water.
- 11 March: Moved all of the records and files of my L5R campaign to this site. You can see them here.
- 10 March: Working like mad to get this site running. Everything should be operational soon.
