My L5R Campaign

While this site is going to be my pet L5R project for a while, I almost never refuse help. So if you really want to help, I certainly won't mind. There are just a few guidelines for what I'm trying to do with this site:

  • Despite the fact that I like Rifts, I'm much more intereseted in character and storyline than in toys. Something well-thought out with a good bit of description is much more likely to catch my eye than just a bunch of stats.
  • That said, toys are not necessarily bad, especially if they fill a void. Some good nemuranai with well-thought out backgrounds would be nice, for example. On the other hand, about the last thing we need is yet another Crab bushi school.
  • While I know this site will probably never be considered canon, it is at the very least going to be canon in my campaigns. With that in mind, everything is going to have to work with everything else. Basically, as long as whatever you are thinking about doesn't contradict the official storyline or anything else here on the site, you don't need to worry about this. Of course, things that obviously aren't meant to fit in with the storyline at all, like alternate realities or humor pieces, don't need to worry about this.
  • Please, just send submissions in plain text. It's universal, anyone can read it without worrying about format, and it's a lot easier to simply add in formatting than to have to strip a document of formatting first.
  • Only submit things that you yourself created. If I get a letter from the original author, the piece will be taken down.
  • I am not interested in material that is d20-only. Dual-statted material is fine, but if you only want to use one system in your submission, use D10. I know just enough of L5R d20 to know I don't like it. Your campaign is your own, and I'm not going to try to change your preference here, but I prefer to only post things here that I understand.
  • Common Sense Clause: Don't send anything vile, hateful, lewd, or indecent, because I will simply ignore you.
  • Cover Any Other Bases Clause: This is my website, not yours. I'm paying for it, not you. I make the final decisions as to what does and doesn't go on it, and I am under no obligation to post anything you send me, unless you happen to be a lawyer speaking for AEG.

And that's pretty much it. So if you want to help out, just send me whatever you want to submit, and please put "Asako Library Submission" in the subject, just to make sure I actually see it (And be sure to fix the spam-proofed e-mail address). I promise that I'll look at it as soon as I have the chance, but I am a full-time student, so I might take a little while. Just be patient. And be sure to let me know what name and what, if any, e-mail address you want me to put under the title, because otherwise, I'll just use whatever name and address came with your e-mail.

That's about it. Thanks for reading!
